This is a short and simple dhaka food guide for new travelers. If
this is your first visit to Dhaka city then you got to check out some of the
best places to eat some best dishes the town has to offer. Keeping that in
mind, I have tried here not to provide you a typical healthy food guide or a weight
loss pyramid scheme, but a very short and handy dhaka food guide.
There are few three and five star
hotels in dhaka, like Ruposhi Bangla or the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, where
you can go and have some expensive and delicious foods of international quality
and taste. Though you need to spend there a lot but I can assure that you are
going to get some best quality foods starting from local Bengali to Thai and
Italian dishes of your choice. But if you are not of that mark then surely
there are other choices you could go for.

Look around for some local branded
hotels like Kusturi or Dhanshiri, where you can get all kinds of general meals
at a very reasonable price with a sure variation of taste. But make sure you do
check the menu carefully before the order, if you are missing out something or
not. I meant to say, the popular Hilsha fish curry or vaji (fried) or the
traditional Dal. Don’t forget to try out some mutton biriyani’s or Khichuris
because they are really going to be on your hit list, unless you try them out. Everything
else is tasty and you just need to try them a bit and check out.
Last but not the least comes the
famous dhaka street foods like jhalmuri or chapoti-fuchka. If you are a
terrible spicy lover, then you got to be checking these two best and popular
among all other dhaka street food.
That’s all for now. I will soon
write more in details about other popular food and try to come up with a
broader dhaka food guide for you all.

Waao, How Helpful this website to me & Others, who'll visit Dhaka. Thanks
